Stats

Every character has five stats: Strength, Agility, Focus, Durability and Stamina. They grow from training and from fighting, and each one is saved on its own character slot. Together they decide your Rank.

The five stats

Strength

Damage
  • Raises your M1 and M2 damage.
  • Adds to the limb damage your hits deal.
  • Trained with Push Up or the Bench Press.

Agility

Speed
  • Speeds up your swings: +10% at 100 Agility.
  • M1 speed caps at +25% (from 250), M2 at +20%.
  • Trained with Jump Rope or the Pull-Up Bar.

Focus

Rank
  • Counts toward your Rank like every stat.
  • Grows in fights each time you block a hit.
  • Trained with Meditate.

Durability

Toughness
  • Cuts the limb damage you take.
  • High Durability can make weak hitters bounce off (Tough Body).
  • Slows fatigue gain. Trained with Sit Up or the Squat Rack.

Stamina

Endurance
  • Max stamina = 100 + your Stamina stat.
  • Also speeds stamina regen and slows fatigue gain.
  • Trained with Burpee or the Treadmill.

Effective stats

Your raw stats are what you trained. What combat actually uses is your effective stat: the raw number plus bonuses from your height (see Height) and, when your teacher or disciples are on the server, the disciple boost. Your Rank is worked out from the sum of your raw stats.

Stamina bar

  • Moves cost flat points, so a bigger bar pays a smaller share. A dash costs 15 points.
  • A full bar runs 14 s fresh, about 91 s at 637 Stamina.
  • Attacks, dashes and skills are never refused: you can go into debt down to minus half your bar.
  • Stay below 0 for 3 seconds in a row and you get knocked, then get up with 30% stamina.
  • Running and training stop at 0. At 0 you are Exhausted until you are back to 30%.
  • Body heat: under 70% stamina you heat up, and every cost rises up to x1.5 at full heat.

Battle stat gains

StatGained in combat by
Strength0.02 per damage you land
Durability0.02 per damage you take
Stamina0.005 per stamina point spent
Agility0.05 per second of running while in combat
Focus0.1 per hit you block

Tough Body

If an attacker's Strength is below 10% of your Durability, their M1 and M2 do half damage and nothing else: no stun, no hit reaction, no knockback. A Muscular attacker ignores this unless you are Muscular too. You can switch Tough Body off for yourself in settings.

Trivia

  • The very top rank is simply called Unmeasurable.
  • Sparring as a disciple gives x10 battle stat gains, and the teacher gets x2.
